About Jared Hanson & Hanson Metalworks

When you work with Hanson Metalworks, you work directly with me — Jared Hanson.
I personally design, fabricate, and install every roof. There are no middlemen, no large crews, and no one else touching your project. Just me, from the first measurement to the final panel.
I’m a Journeyman Architectural Sheet Metal Worker and Building Envelope Specialist based in Kelowna, BC. My focus is on on-site manufactured standing seam metal roofing.
I completed my apprenticeship through the Roofing Contractors Association of BC (RCABC), where I received comprehensive training in architectural sheet metal work and building envelope systems. This formal training, combined with years of hands-on experience, allows me to deliver precise, high-quality workmanship on every project.
I bring the roll former right to your property so I can fabricate long, continuous panels on location. This creates a cleaner, more modern look with better performance in our Okanagan climate.
I also install a true hidden-fastener systems. Many metal roofs still use exposed screws with neoprene washers that eventually crack, leak, and require maintenance. My systems keep all fasteners hidden, which means a much longer-lasting, lower-maintenance roof.

What began as one person with a roll former and a truck has grown through steady word-of-mouth from satisfied homeowners across Kelowna, West Kelowna, and the wider Okanagan.
Every project is still handled personally by me. I continue to refine my techniques, invest in better tools and materials, and focus on the small details that make a real difference — especially when it comes to hidden fastener systems, proper flashing, and snow retention.
